Abraham Amorós

Director of Operations, PA Municipal League

Abraham Amorós was appointed to the Board of Trustees by Governor Tom Wolf effective October 17, 2018. He earned his B.A. in Journalism from Penn State in 1990 and M.A. in Governmental Administration in 1997 from the University of Pennsylvania. He is the Director of Operations for the PA Municipal League and previously served as the Managing Director for the City of Reading.

In 2018, Latino Connection named Amorós one of the 100 Most Influential Latinos in Pennsylvania and was the first Latino elected official in the City of York. At Penn State, he served three terms on the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications Alumni Board and provided volunteer support to the College’s Office of Multicultural Affairs.
