Kathleen Casey was appointed to the Board of Trustees effective June 2013 by Governor Corbett and elected as an at-large trustee effective July 2015. She graduated from Penn State in 1988 with a B.A. in Political Science from the College of the Liberal Arts and earned a J.D. from George Mason University School of Law. She is a senior advisor with Patomak Global Partners, LLC, Chair of the Financial Accounting Foundation and a member of the board of the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation.  She has career experience in government regulatory, legal and policymaking roles, including serving as a Commissioner with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. She was selected as the 2006 Outstanding Young Alumni from Penn State’s Department of Political Science.
