Ruby Bjalme (2027)

After being nominated by the Student Trustee Selection Committee, Ruby Bjalme was elected to the Board of Trustees, effective July 1, 2025. Bjalme is a student in the Schreyer Honors College and the Smeal College of Business at Penn State, where she is pursuing a major in marketing with a minor in information systems management.
On campus, Bjalme is an executive board member of the Nittany Lion Consulting Group and a member of the Presidential Leadership Academy, where she has participated in university-wide discussions on the future of higher education with leaders such as President Neeli Bendapudi and Dean Patrick Mather. She has served as a New Student Orientation leader and is actively involved in service, extracurriculars, and student life initiatives across the University.
