Student Trustee
Pursuant to the Charter and Bylaws of the University, a trustee is elected biennially by the Board of Trustees from among the student body. The student trustee serves for a two- year term. The procedures for election of the student trustee are set forth in the Elections Appendix to the Bylaws.

• The Student Trustee Selection Committee participates in the evaluation of Student Trustee applicants.
• The Selection Committee, chaired by the current Student Trustee, is composed of the Presidents of the University Park Undergraduate Association (UPUA), the Council of Commonwealth Student Governments (CCSG), the Graduate and Professional Student Association (GPSA), the Word Campus Student Government Association (WCSG) and six other at-large student members who are selected through the Student Trustee Selection Committee Application process.
• All application materials for one of the six at-large seats on the committee must meet the following deadlines: Applications submitted electronically must be completed by 11:59 p.m., February 7, 2025.
Applications sent via first-class mail must be received by 5:00 p.m. on February 7, 2025. Please use the following address:

• Applicants must be able to serve as Student Trustee for a two-year term.
