Daniel A. Onorato

Executive Vice President and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, Highmark Health

Daniel A. Onorato was appointed to the Board of Trustees by Governor Tom Wolf effective September 21, 2022. He earned his B.S. in Accounting from Penn State in 1983 and J.D. in 1989 from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.

In addition to his role as Executive Vice President and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Highmark Health, Onorato is Board Chair of the Highmark Foundation. He is also a Board member of the Pennsylvania Chamber of Commerce, Greater Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce, Allegheny County Parks Foundation, Pittsburgh Public Theater, and AmeriServ Financial. He served two terms on the Pittsburgh City Council and as Allegheny County Chief Executive.
