Charter

The Charter (.pdf 190KB) of The Pennsylvania State University consists of relevant provisions of legislation enacted by the Pennsylvania legislature in February 1855 to create the Farmers’ High School, together with subsequent amendments enacted by the legislature or adopted by the Board of Trustees.

Bylaws

The Bylaws (.pdf 307KB) of the corporation contain provisions concerning organization and meetings of the board; qualifications for membership; officers of the corporation and their duties; committees; liability and indemnification; conflict of interest; and other miscellaneous provisions.

Standing Orders
