Agricultural Trustees

Pursuant to the Charter and Bylaws of the University, six trustees are elected by delegates of the organized agricultural societies or associations in the Commonwealth. Trustee terms are staggered so that the terms of two trustees expire each year. The procedures for the election of trustees by agricultural delegates are set forth in the Elections Appendix to the Bylaws.

2025 Elections

We are in the process of updating information about Agricultural organizations, societies, or associations in Pennsylvania in anticipation of the 2025 Agricultural Trustee Elections. If an organization, society, or association is interested in participating in the election process, please complete an Agricultural Organization Interest Form for the Board Office.  You may also phone (814-865-2521) and provide the following:

1. Name of Organization/Society/Association
2. Contact name of Secretary or Authorized Officer
3. Contact phone number
4. Contact email address
5. Organization or contact mailing address

Important dates and deadlines:

Agricultural Organization Interest Forms – due January 26, 2025
Notify Board Office of intent to run as a Candidate – deadline February 25, 2025
Secretary Certificates – deadline March 26, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.
Caucuses – April 8, 2025, from noon – 1:00 p.m.
Election Day – May 8, 2025
