Kenneth “Ken” Kane
Senior Advisor, Generations Forestry
Kenneth “Ken” Kane was appointed to the Board of Trustees by Governor Josh Shapiro, effective October 9, 2024. Ken earned his B.S. degree in Forest Products from Penn State’s College of Agricultural Sciences in 1982. He currently serves as Senior Advisor at Generations Forestry in Kane, Pennsylvania, where he was president and owner until 2023. Ken also serves as a Director at Hamlin Bank & Trust Company and board member for the PA DCNR Conservation and Natural Resources Advisory Council (CONRAC). He is the immediate past chair of the Pennsylvania Forest Products Association. In addition, he is a member of Penn State’s Agricultural Advisory Council, the Penn State Ag Alumni Association, and has been honored with the Penn State School of Forest Resources Outstanding Alumnus Award and was named the Joseph T. Rothrock Conservationist of the Year in 2021.
