Khalid N. Mumin

ACTING SECRETARY, DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION

An ex officio member of the Board of Trustees, Khalid N. Mumin was appointed to serve as Pennsylvania Acting Secretary of Education in 2023. He has previously worked as a superintendent, school administrator and mentor. He holds an Ed.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, a M.A. in education from Penn State, and a B.A. in English from Shippensburg University, as well as an A.A. from the Northeastern Christian Junior College.
