Uma Pattarkine Moriarity

Senior Investment Strategist & Global Head of Sustainability, CenterSquare Investment Management

Uma Moriarity was elected to the Board of Trustees by the Alumni, effective July 1, 2025. A 2014 Penn State alumna, she serves as Senior Investment Strategist and Global ESG Lead at CenterSquare Investment Management, a real assets investment firm with $15 billion in assets under management. Moriarity is the youngest partner and the only female investment professional on the firm’s investment committees. She has been recognized for her leadership and expertise in sustainable investing and regularly appears as a commentator on CNBC, Bloomberg, and BBC. In 2024 she was named a Woman of Influence by GlobeSt.

While at Penn State Moriarity earned bachelor’s degrees in accounting and finance, as well as a master’s degree in accounting. Moriarity continues to support Penn State as a member of the Smeal Sustainability Advisory Board and as a frequent speaker and mentor for students. She has been recognized with the Schreyer Honors College’s Outstanding GOLD Scholar Alumni Award.
